Mechanical Engineering Trainer

Salary Range: £37,000 - £39,000

Location: Grimsby

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking knowledgeable professionals who are eager to transition into the educational sector, focusing on training and skill development.

We are in search of a qualified Mechanical Engineer who possesses the necessary expertise and qualities to impart their knowledge to aspiring engineers. While experience in process engineering is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite.

This role involves providing high-quality apprenticeship and commercial training to various client organizations.

The ideal candidate should have experience in:

  • Mechanical planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Lathe and Milling Machine operation.
  • Safe handling of Hand Tools.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
  • Health & Safety regulations and practices.

A foundational understanding of the chemical process industry and/or CAD software is advantageous but not mandatory.

Additionally, the successful candidate must possess:

  • A minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
  • A valid Driving Licence.

While teaching and assessor qualifications are preferred, they are not essential, as comprehensive support will be provided for skill development.
