Humberside Engineering Training Association Ltd. is a leading provider of engineering training in the Yorkshire and Humber region. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Mechanical Instructor.

This role involves delivering high-quality apprenticeship and commercial training to our client companies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in planned and reactive maintenance, lathe/milling machine operation, and a working knowledge of chemical process industry and/or CAD.

We are committed to safeguarding our learners and require the successful applicant to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Additionally, they will be required to register on a suitable teacher training programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality apprenticeship and commercial training to client companies
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
  • Assess and evaluate learner progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver training programmes
