Job Summary

Chevron Aircraft Maintenance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Line Maintenance Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operational activities of our line maintenance team. As a Certified Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our line maintenance activities, while also managing administrative and managerial duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
    • Encourage a safety-conscious culture among team members and advise the Station Manager of any potential hazards or improvements.
    • Lead by example and promote a positive work ethic.
    • Manage and develop the team to ensure efficient use of manpower and resources.
  • Operational Management
    • Manage all line maintenance activities, including workload management, production planning, and staff supervision.
    • Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition.
    • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Establish and maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of line maintenance activities.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to the Station Manager and other senior management.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure that all line maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Implement corrective actions to address any non-compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications
    • Hold a current and valid UKCAA Part 66 B1 Licence.
    • Hold a Human Factors Certificate.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Extensive knowledge of line maintenance activities and hands-on working experience.
    • Ability to work a shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
    • Good standard of written and spoken English, including the ability to interact at a technical level.
    • Good standard of computer skills and the use of Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets.
