Job Title: Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team at TARA Professional Recruitment Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, covering a maternity leave at our head office in Shrewsbury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with candidates to ensure they provide the necessary documents for clearance.
  • Check cloud-based files for each candidate and complete all relevant compliance checks.
  • Communicate daily with consultants to ensure the quickest turnaround time for clearing candidates.
  • Send spreadsheets to confirm weekly payroll and chase up candidate online timesheets.
  • Assist in phone support, liaising with candidates and schools in a professional manner, and pass messages on or assist with bookings for supply staff.
  • Resource for new candidates, sourcing, attracting, and securing education professionals using the database and job boards.
Requirements:
  • A friendly and personable attitude with a desire to provide outstanding service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with people of all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience of using MS Software programmes, and previous experience using Candidate Management systems is preferable but not essential.
About TARA Professional Recruitment:

TARA are leading providers of qualified Teachers and TA's to Primary and Secondary schools across Shropshire, Telford, West Midlands, and Staffordshire. Working for TARA includes:

  • Up to 39 days holiday a year, including your Birthday as paid holiday.
