About Us



The Environment Agency is transforming its regulatory approach to minimize the environmental impact of water companies. As a key player in this transformation, you will be responsible for planning and delivering complex regulatory tasks, such as inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

About the Role

As a Senior Regulatory Environment Officer, you will provide technical expertise to support managers, contribute to training programmes, and identify best practices to enhance regulation and performance. You will also participate in incident response, which comes with additional pay, training, and support.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide evidence and technical expertise to support managers
- Contribute to training programmes
- Identify best practices to enhance regulation and performance
- Participate in incident response

Requirements

- Strong understanding of how water company activities impact the environment
- Three years of experience in the water industry, particularly within regulation and compliance
- Background in science or engineering (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence (non-negotiable)
