Complex Care Assistant

Are you a caring and committed individual eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others? ThinkWorkforce is currently looking for Complex Care Assistants or Healthcare Support Workers to join our dedicated team.

In this vital role, you will provide essential assistance to our clients, helping them to enjoy fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 support and accompanying service users to various activities
  • Assisting with personal care needs
  • Administering medication as required
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the living environment
  • Preparing meals and supporting nutritional needs

Qualifications for Complex Care Assistant:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in UK care settings (experience in complex care is preferred)
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and autism
  • Essential training in PEG feeding and dysphagia (certificate required)

Shift Patterns:

  • Day/Night shifts from 8am-8pm
  • Sleep-in and waking night shifts
  • Shorter shifts from 8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm

Compensation:

  • £13.15 per hour for day/night shifts
  • £11.40 per hour for sleeping hours
