We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by substance use, providing personalized interventions, and promoting recovery and resilience.

About the Role:
  • Provide empathetic support to service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Implement tailored interventions to reduce harm caused by opiate use, including group sessions and one-on-one engagement.
  • Develop comprehensive recovery-focused detoxification plans, including pre-detox preparation and post-care support.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and networks to enhance recovery resources for service users.
  • Advocate for service users' involvement and support their social reintegration.
  • Work closely with service users to promote recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for clients, including GPs and pharmacists.
  • Offer community-based clinics for clients.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Experience in delivering interventions for service users affected by substances, particularly opiate use.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficient IT skills.
  • Proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate change effectively, prioritizing service users' needs.
  • Commitment to information governance processes and adherence to necessary safeguards.
  • Pursuit of continuous learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
