About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our dynamic HR Talent & Organisational Capability (T&OC) Team at Lockheed Martin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough Training Needs Analysis to assess the requirements of various business areas.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training programs utilizing multimedia and diverse learning approaches.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with business areas and corporate partners to leverage these connections for the benefit of Lockheed Martin.
  • Provide detailed consulting and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Implement team-focused development initiatives, such as Insights Discovery or similar.
  • Drive operational excellence by utilizing appropriate resources to develop employees.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, partnering with businesses to evaluate the effectiveness of learning activities and demonstrate Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Facilitate and deliver training sessions across all employee levels, from entry-level to senior-management.
  • Collaborate with the wider T&OC Team on various learning and talent-related activities, including reporting.
  • Develop and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and provide associated training to employees.
  • Support Early Careers events as needed.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience in conducting L&D Training Needs Analysis.
  • Strong Organizational Development and Operational Excellence knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience in designing e-learning systems and delivering virtual training.
  • Experience working within Early Careers development.
  • Demonstrated delivery and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and responsively.
  • Stakeholder Management, able to communicate at all levels.
  • Coaching.
