The successful candidate will provide onsite customer support to a range of machinery within the region, focusing on maintaining peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Investigate and diagnose technical problems with equipment, ensuring prompt resolution.
  2. Service a diverse range of machines both on and off site, adhering to high standards.
  3. Work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems, utilizing mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
  4. Complete job cards and paperwork to a high standard, meeting deadlines.
  5. Request parts efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime.
  6. Develop and maintain excellent customer service skills, fostering strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  7. Supervise Apprentices, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safe working procedures.
  8. Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment, maintaining a professional image at all times.
  9. Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues, and customers, adhering to the Company health and Safety Policy.
Requirements:
  1. Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to service a wide range of heavy tracked plant JCB machines.
  2. Investigate and diagnose technical problems, involving climbing on top and underneath heavy plant machinery.
  3. Lone working and excellent verbal, written, and critical thinking skills.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary of up to £37,400, with overtime available at 1.5 times the hourly rate. A 40-hour workweek with opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £34,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
