Responsibilities:

* Provide general maintenance and caretaking services to ensure the home and grounds are well maintained
* Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to create a happy and caring atmosphere
* Carry out tasks such as decorating, carpet laying, and fire alarm checks with care and attention to detail
* Use your problem-solving skills to resolve maintenance issues efficiently
* Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and external contractors
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

Requirements:

* A compassionate and caring nature
* Good level of skills and experience in carrying out general maintenance
* Robust and high-quality painting and decorating experience with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Good IT skills and knowledge
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
* Strong organisation and planning skills
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
* Flexible approach to working hours
* Full and clean driving license

Desirable:

* Previous training as the Legionella Responsible Person

This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
