  • Contributing to team meetings to enhance communication and staff development.
  • Ensuring adherence to the organization's policies and quality standards.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and retention of staff, including training for new hires.
  • Supervising new employees during their initial probation period.
  • Fostering a management style that balances control with empowering staff to make decisions.
  • Identifying and addressing individual training and development needs.
  • Conducting annual performance reviews for staff.
  • Addressing conduct and competence issues among staff members.
  • Carrying out management investigations as necessary.
  • Supporting the Registered Manager in promoting professional development through appropriate delegation.

General Duties:

  • Assisting the management team in implementing all aspects of the organization's mission.
  • Facilitating in-house workshops on childcare topics to enhance practice.
  • Driving company vehicles in accordance with policies.
  • Working on a flexible schedule based on the needs of the young individuals.
  • Ensuring proper allocation of resources and maintaining accurate financial records.

Resource Management:

  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of the facility.
  • Effectively managing budgets and monitoring financial expenditures.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and regular upkeep of company vehicles.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Establishing adequate reporting and recording systems to comply with quality standards.
