Established in 1985, our client has evolved into one of the largest privately owned integrated facilities management companies globally.


Job Purpose:
This pivotal role involves executing both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks across various locations. The primary objective is to perform non-technical repairs and minor planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Additionally, you will assist in executing scheduled and urgent maintenance, as well as electrical and mechanical plant operations at multiple sites.

All tasks will be carried out to the highest standards, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness while adhering to all health and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repair tasks within agreed timelines.
  • Execute all necessary PPM and urgent maintenance schedules within set timeframes, ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed.
  • Respond promptly and positively to service requests from the Helpdesk, assessing job requirements and performing repairs as needed.
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment necessary for minor maintenance and repairs are available and in good working condition at all times.
  • While primarily assigned to a specific area for PPM completion, there may be occasions when you will be required to attend other sites within the organization to perform work.
  • Collaborate with company and client colleagues to maintain established quality standards at all times.
  • Represent the organization professionally at all times and foster positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Assist other technicians and teams with any major or minor maintenance tasks.
  • Complete all tasks in accordance with specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor and update the job management system, including live job updates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum education level of GCSE / Standard Grade.
  • Trade qualifications are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance is essential.
  • Ability to maintain and repair a variety of equipment.
  • Quality of repairs and maintenance.
  • Efficiency and speed of work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in PC skills – both Apple and Android platforms.
  • Timely response to service requests.
  • Achievement of PPM schedules within agreed timelines.
  • Adherence to health and safety policies.
  • Positive relationships and feedback from clients and colleagues.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A clean/full UK driving license is required.
