About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to oversee the management accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a distinguished portfolio of hospitality clients, ensuring comprehensive service delivery and satisfaction.
  • Financial Analysis: Compile and meticulously assess monthly management accounts to guarantee accuracy and completeness. Utilize these accounts to assist clients in making well-informed business decisions.
  • Business Development: Empower clients to make informed decisions and develop effective business strategies.
  • Trend Analysis: Identify and analyse trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) within financial reports. Present findings to clients to highlight areas of opportunity and concern.
  • Financial Planning: Develop customized forecasts, budgets, and cash flow analyses to meet each client's specific needs.
  • Strategic Planning: Create detailed projections for new ventures or expansion projects, providing valuable insights into potential financial outcomes.
  • Communication: Ensure seamless communication between the back-office team and clients, fostering clarity and operational efficiency.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, thereby avoiding penalties and ensuring client peace of mind

Requirements:

  • Strong Personality: A strong personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Capabilities: Strong analytical capabilities coupled with successful business partnering.
  • Influencing Stakeholders: Demonstratable experience in influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial Finance Experience: Held previous commercial finance roles.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent Excel skills with a good eye for detail.
