About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our leisure centre in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our facilities team, you'll be responsible for carrying out all general day-to-day maintenance within the centre, ensuring that our equipment and facilities are fully functioning and safe for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures
  • Plan and implement work schedules to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Liaise with external contractors to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Monitor and report on maintenance activities, including any issues or concerns
  • Work collaboratively with the technical team to ensure that all equipment and facilities are fully functioning and safe for our customers

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a maintenance role, ideally with a trade qualification
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations, particularly in public spaces
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Pool Plant Operator's Certificate (desirable)
