About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Places Leisure. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our leisure centre facilities.

Your primary focus will be on carrying out general day-to-day maintenance tasks, including planning and implementing work schedules, and contacting contractors for any unexpected issues. You will also be responsible for monitoring contractors, ensuring they complete tests and inspections in a timely manner.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will deliver a high level of service, comfort, and safety for our centre users. You will work closely with our Technical team to ensure all equipment and facilities are fully functioning, and provide regular maintenance reports and updates to the Contract Technical Manager.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a maintenance role, ideally with a trade qualification. You must have a good understanding of health and safety, particularly in public spaces, and hold a Pool Plant Operator's Certificate. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be required to liaise with external contractors.
