About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Places Leisure. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our leisure centre facilities.

Your primary focus will be on carrying out general day-to-day maintenance tasks, including planning and implementing work schedules, and contacting contractors as needed. You will also be responsible for monitoring contractors' work, ensuring that they complete tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard.

In addition to your technical skills, you will provide excellent customer service to our centre users, ensuring that they have a safe and enjoyable experience. You will work closely with our Technical team to ensure that all equipment and facilities are fully functioning, and provide regular maintenance reports and updates to the Contract Technical Manager.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a maintenance role, ideally with a trade qualification. You will have a strong awareness of health and safety, particularly in public spaces, and hold a Pool Plant Operator's Certificate. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be required to liaise with external contractors. You will also have excellent customer service skills and experience.
