As a Group Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting people affected by dementia to engage in activities and socialise with others in a group setting.
Key responsibilities include welcoming and talking to people affected by dementia, offering refreshments, and helping to set up and tidy away at the end of the group.
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people affected by dementia and contribute to a supportive and inclusive community.
Requirements:
- Availability to support the group every Wednesday afternoon
- Ability to welcome and engage with people affected by dementia
- Basic communication skills
