Job Title: Engineering Senior Project Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Derby. Our client has been working within a niche industry for the last 65 years, across a wide range of sectors including Energy, Aerospace, Marine, Nuclear, Petro-chemical and Utilities.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle in a custom fabrication and manufacturing environment. You will ensure timely delivery within budget and in line with company objectives. You will work both independently and collaboratively with the project management team to play a pivotal role in project success.

This is a hybrid role, working from home Monday and Friday. You will need a full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle, compensated with a generous car allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management qualification with at least 5-years hands on experience within a closely related industry.
  • Extensive experience in client-facing roles, including gathering initial project briefs, coordinating with all relevant parties, and confidently presenting and negotiating with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel overseas on occasion.
  • Understanding of the capabilities of Primavera P3e, Microsoft Project or Asta project planning software.
