We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 and Year 6 pupil with a diagnosis of ADHD.

About the Role:
  • Support a pupil with a diagnosis of ADHD in a Year 2 and Year 6 classroom setting.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Provide emotional and academic support to the pupil, promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience.
  • Communicate effectively with the pupil, teachers, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or similar.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced classroom environment.
