About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Land Referencing Technical Lead to join our team at Climate17 | B Corp™. As a key member of our Land Assembly team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of technical professionals with substantial experience in TWAO, CPO, and DCO projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans and resource allocation strategies to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of technical land referencing services.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of technical land referencing teams to ensure high-quality output and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure that client-side purchase orders are in place and variation orders are properly signed off and monitored.
  • Offer expert advice and effective management to a wide range of property industry and private clients.
  • Ensure that technical teams complete work on time and budget, and provide ongoing management and guidance as needed.
  • Plan and review training and development needs of the team to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Produce resource, scope, and cost estimates to support commercial tender opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have gained extensive land referencing skills and experience working on major infrastructure schemes as part of multi-discipline teams. A thorough knowledge of planning and compulsory purchase legislation, as well as familiarity with GIS for digitizing title plans, and some understanding of database-based systems for producing statutory notices and books of reference, are essential.

A strong commercial awareness, including finance and technical project management, is also required. Additionally, you will possess a business development-orientated attitude, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and quality to our clients.
