Field Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our General Medical Products team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our high-quality, innovative General Surgery medical device products portfolio, including GORE BIO-A Tissue Reinforcement, GORE SYNECOR Intraperitoneal Biomaterial, and GORE SEAMGUARD Bioabsorbable Staple Line Reinforcement products.
Responsibilities:- Maximize sales and ensure market penetration with existing business and actively pursue new customers and develop new opportunities.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and physician customers.
- Coordinate and implement local sales promotion activities.
- Gain recognition as a go-to person at Gore and as a product expert.
- Attend international and regional trade fairs and congresses.
- Partner closely with the UK Sales Leader, Regional Product Specialists, and Regional Strategic Marketers to achieve the annual revenue forecast.
- Support new product introduction and local marketing initiatives.
- Provide clinical product education and training, as well as regular involvement in the Operating Room.
- Apply a solid knowledge of business fundamentals and hospital organizations to assist in dealings with public and private hospital administrations and their purchasing departments.
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a medical device Field Sales representative, preferably with a medical engineering or clinical background in the interventional Hernia and Bariatric environment.
Ideal degree educated in a science, technical, or clinical discipline.
Passionate about clinical sales.
Possess extensive commercial skills enabling you to present and negotiate effectively to a wide variety of people.
Proactive, self-motivated, and well-organized.
Able to analyze and understand the market to successfully plan objectives, strategies, and actions according to the business unit guidelines.
Flexible work ethic, reacting to customer requirements.
A team-player, naturally interacting with other associates across Europe on a regular basis.
The role requires a willingness to undertake extensive travel within the UK, also internationally, to sales meetings, congresses, and for training. Easy access to an international airport within the territory is therefore essential.
