Electronics Maintenance Technician

In the capacity of an Electronics Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in testing, diagnosing, repairing, and enhancing electronic components, parts, and equipment to ensure the optimal performance of both new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities of the Electronics Maintenance Technician:

  • Diagnose and rectify faults in equipment using diagnostic tools and software, leveraging your understanding of the operational functionality of electronic units and systems.
  • Examine industrial equipment components for proper assembly, installation, and any defects, including loose connections and damaged wires.
  • Create sketches to clarify design specifications, review work orders, and communicate with equipment operators to identify issues and determine if mechanical or human errors contributed to the problems.
  • Complete and verify all job tickets, including documentation of material usage and the number of items repaired.
  • Maintain detailed equipment logs that document performance issues, repairs, calibrations, and tests.
  • Analyze blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to identify problems.
  • Propose modifications in circuitry or installation specifications to enhance assembly and maintenance processes.
  • Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry and components, documenting the impact on the unit's performance.
  • Evaluate the functionality of newly installed equipment to assess system performance under real operating conditions.

What We Require from You:

  • Familiarity with electronics and electrical schematics and layouts.
  • Knowledge of transistors and capacitors.
  • Ability to acquire fundamental product knowledge.
  • Competence in using hand tools for packing shipments.
  • Adherence to test specifications, procedures, and verbal instructions to validate equipment functionality.
  • A genuine passion for working with electronics and problem-solving.
