Job Summary:

AEM Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and overhauling a wide range of aircraft Communications, Navigation, Radar, Radio Audio units, Recorders and Instruments to component level.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake precise mechanical work and electronics repair, including through-hole and surface-mounted components, to ensure accurate and safe repair of complex systems.
  • Complete fault finding, repair, and testing processes using specialized and general-purpose test equipment to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Work in accordance with the manufacturer's component maintenance manual, regulatory approvals, and the company's quality system to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate and legible repair records, ensuring they are filed in a timely manner to facilitate efficient tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain an agreed level of quality and cost-effectiveness, ensuring accuracy and safety standards are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with company working practices and procedures to ensure seamless integration and adaptability.
  • Participate in cross-training in other technical areas to align with business requirements and enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Utilize the Quantum system to ensure effective delivery and optimize processes.
