About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff, as well as maintaining the overall presentation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular health and safety checks to create a safe environment for everyone, including fire alarm, water flushing, and bed safety checks.
- Engage with residents, their families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
- Liaise with contractors, coordinate their services, and ensure that work is completed to a high standard.
- Occasionally visit other facilities to provide cover or as part of planned maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Practical skills in recognizing and performing minor repairs, including basic plumbing skills and DIY experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of health and safety protocols, including familiarity with Legionella disease.
- A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.
- Ability to use an iPad or laptop and compliance applications.
