Lead a Thriving Farm as a Laying Farm Manager

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced and skilled Laying Farm Manager to join our client's dynamic team. As a key member of the farm management team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of animal welfare, sustainability, and employee development.

The Job

As a Laying Farm Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the farm operates efficiently and effectively, meeting the highest standards of animal welfare and sustainability.
  • Overseeing the daily duties of the Assistant Manager and Farm Assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Managing and monitoring farm operations, including ventilation, heating, feed, water, and lighting systems.
  • Keeping accurate records, managing supplies, and handling alarms.
  • Maintaining budgets, controlling costs, and contributing to profit and loss insights.
The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in poultry management.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A good understanding of farming operations and poultry management.
  • A full UK driving license.
The Package

We offer a competitive salary of £36,900, plus:
