Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within designated accounts in the healthcare sector to enhance existing revenue and secure new business, achieving new business targets.
  • Business Development: Create a strategic plan to protect, expand, and acquire business within a specified group of prospective accounts.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop precise forecasts and implement tailored business plans that align with the objectives of both PHS Group and its clients, prioritising customised and innovative solutions while meeting new business and retention goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact to cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by delivering a responsive, customer-centric approach to managing accounts.
  • Industry Insights: Generate and analyse industry-specific reports, including performance and ESG reports, to identify growth opportunities and risks. Communicate these insights to clients, helping them achieve their individual performance and ESG targets.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams (including tenders, marketing, commercial, customer service and executive support) to ensure a cohesive and industry-specific approach to account management.
  • Culture and Values: Promote and nurture a positive team culture, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive approach in all interactions with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional face-to-face and written communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively across various business areas both internally and externally.
  • Commercial Acumen: A commercially savvy, analytical thinker with demonstrable understanding of sales methodologies.
  • Account Management Experience: Demonstrable success in managing accounts, preferably within the healthcare sector, alongside a proven track record in prospecting new business opportunities.
  • Industry Knowledge: A strong knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including waste segregation and HTM07-01.
  • Personal Qualities: High energy, tenacious, and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure commercial environment.

  • Competitive Salary: A base salary of £35-40,000.00 (depending on experience), attractive OTE plus uncapped earnings.
