Senior Staff Nurse - Haematology/Oncology Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Haematology/Oncology team at Leaders in Care. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Staff Nurse with a background in Haematology/Oncology to join our team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating high standards of specialist care to patients with complex needs.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best possible care, using the latest treatments and techniques. Your expertise and experience will be invaluable in supporting and motivating our team of experienced nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of specialist care to patients with complex needs.
  • Work on a variety of complex cases using the latest treatments and techniques.
  • Ensure patients are cared for in a safe, caring, and comfortable environment.
  • Support and motivate a team of experienced nurses.
  • Administer SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
  • Significant post-registration experience within a haematology or oncology setting.
  • Experience in the administration of SACT.
  • Strong management and team motivation skills.
