We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team at Mencap, a leading provider of support services for individuals with a learning disability.

Job Summary

As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users, providing personal care, light household tasks, and maintaining a clean and tidy living environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including supporting individuals to bed, carrying out regular checks, and assisting with toileting as needed.
  • Conduct light household tasks, such as ironing, cleaning, and updating digital systems, while service users sleep.
  • Ensure the safety of the house and its occupants.
  • Prepare service users for the day ahead, including assisting with morning routines.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy living environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support service users in meeting their health needs and ensuring their safety overnight.
