We are seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Mencap, a leading provider of support services for individuals with a learning disability.

Job Summary

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to individuals with a learning disability, including assistance with toileting and other daily needs.
  • Carrying out light household tasks, such as ironing and cleaning, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Ensuring the safety of the house and supporting individuals to be safe overnight.
  • Preparing individuals for the day ahead, including assisting with morning routines and ensuring they are ready for the day.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy living environment, including assisting with laundry and other household tasks.
  • Supporting individuals to meet their health needs and ensuring their overall well-being.
