The Company

Meraki Talent Limited is a reputable and well-established business solutions provider based in Glasgow. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to join our team.

The Role

As a Senior Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for the daily processing of key accounts functions, including bank, purchase ledger, and group intercompany reconciliations. You will also be responsible for elements of the month-end process, preparing management accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly expenditure reports
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Processing and maintaining Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Posting month-end journals
  • Agreeing Intercompany balances and reconciliations
  • Preparing and processing bank payments and bank reconciliations
  • Other ad hoc accounts department administration duties
  • High volume processing of invoices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in an accounts role
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • A proactive and process-driven approach
  • Good levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Team player who works well meeting daily and month-end demands
