About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient-centered care in a safe clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with personal care, hygiene, and sanitary needs, ensuring privacy and dignity is maintained.
  • Support patients with safe mobilization and assist with skin and pressure area care to prevent pressure ulcers.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in therapeutic recreational activities and support patients in achieving their goals.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of kindness, courage, and respect.

Requirements

  • At least six months of experience in a care setting.
  • Understanding of patient needs and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including days, nights, and weekends.
