We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Northampton Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective 1:1 lessons to students in core subjects and other areas of need
  • Work with a range of Local Authority Clients and independent provisions, including Virtual Schools, SEN teams, and specialist independent provisions
  • Support students with complex needs, including SEMH, anxiety, Autism, and ADHD
  • Collaborate with foster carers and residential home staff to provide a cohesive support network
  • Provide detailed and extensive feedback to students, outlining strengths and areas for development

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training for the role
  • Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Knowledge of SEN and complex needs
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior and engage disaffected pupils
  • Professionalism and ability to work with a range of stakeholders
