Your primary responsibilities will include providing individualized support and facilitating small group intervention sessions in mathematics, where you will offer focused assistance to groups of students.

The students you will engage with have transitioned from traditional educational settings due to mental health challenges or behavioral issues, necessitating additional pastoral and academic support, along with mentorship.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required
  • A degree in Psychology or a related field such as Mathematics, English, Sociology, Criminology, the Arts, Dance, Drama, Sports, or a background in Health & Social Care.
  • Previous experience working with young individuals is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Relevant experience with children or adolescents facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges is essential.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Education, Childcare, or a similar discipline is advantageous but not required.
  • Current behavior management training is desirable (training can be provided).
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this position through Prospero Teaching, you must:
  • Possess an enhanced DBS that is registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
