Materials Planning Analyst II

TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop production schedules to optimize production efficiency and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
- Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and optimize supply chain operations
- Collaborate with production supervisor to optimize manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production goals
- Provide reports on production performance and identify areas for process improvements
- Preferably a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Previous experience as a production scheduler in manufacturing and experience with moulding scheduling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in scheduling software systems, including SAP
