Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Radiation Therapist to lead our Gamma Knife Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our Gamma Knife Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all clinical work in the Gamma Knife Centre, including working outside of standard hours as required.
- Provide accurate and detailed information and support to patients and carers regarding pre-treatment assessment and treatment delivery, ensuring that any staff caring for patients in an emergency situation have access to relevant guidance and information to ensure safety.
- Develop and maintain expertise in Gamma Knife treatments, continuously developing clinical practice, giving expert advice, and disseminating knowledge to the profession and to a wider healthcare arena.
- Assist in all aspects of department management, deputising for the Radiotherapy Services Manager as and when required, and contribute to the development of radiotherapy services.
