We are seeking a skilled Gamma Knife Coordinator to join our multi-disciplinary team at the Bristol Gamma Knife Centre. As a key member of our admin team, you will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the Unit.

Key responsibilities will include coordinating and booking patients, maintaining patient databases, and liaising with clinicians and other stakeholders. You will also assist in planning, reviewing, and updating the service to meet clinical needs and local and national service targets.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be supported by the Gamma Knife Specialist Radiographer and another Gamma Knife Coordinator.

  • To act as a point of contact for patients, visitors, and professionals, on the phone and electronically via email.
  • To facilitate administratively the patient journey, including referral from MDT, treatment and review bookings, through to follow up, ensuring that this is seamless through close team working.
  • To maintain patient databases under the guidance of the clinicians, in accordance with protocols.
