About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Risk Governance Specialist to join our Customer, Brand & Engagement (CB&E) function. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in delivering our purpose of Banking - but fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver effective risk governance models to manage Nationwide's communication risks and controls.
  • Develop and implement regular risk reporting to enable Accountable Executives to understand and manage their communications risks and controls effectively.
  • Support the Head of Risk in monitoring critical control improvement plans and issue management profiles, ensuring committed actions are delivered on time and to the right level of quality.
About You
  • Strong understanding of risk, policy, and process governance and its application across the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, to a high standard.
  • Experience in using a variety of risk management tools and techniques.
  • Good understanding of the SM&CR and associated regulatory requirements.
