Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a Cost Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering better outcomes for our clients, helping our people to realize their potential, and doing our part to create a prosperous society.

Our ideal candidate will have experience operating at Cost Management level, administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies. They will provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.

The successful candidate will pro-actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner. They will collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  • Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.
  • Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow.
  • Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives.
  • Managing contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
  • Driving improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate will have a Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • Ideal candidate will hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent.
  • Contract Management (NEC3, Option C preferred).
