The Role: Workshop Controller

We are seeking an experienced and driven Workshop Controller to oversee the smooth operation of our client's workshop in New Southgate, North London. You will play a vital role in maximizing efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure optimal workflow within the workshop, minimizing bottlenecks and promoting seamless operations.
  • Foster strong relationships with the sales department to ensure a cohesive and efficient service experience for customers.
  • Oversee warranty processes and ensure strict adherence to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Lead and motivate your team, providing support, coaching, and guidance to enhance performance and foster a positive work environment.
  • Implement strategies to drive profitability and achieve business objectives while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of 3+ years as a Workshop Controller within the automotive industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of consumer legislation, trade practices, and health and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with a track record of achieving results.
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Full and valid driving license.
