EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We're seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in the North Chilterns Area.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain site survey control networks to report and validate construction stages.
- Undertake land, topographic, hydrographic, and measured building surveys using specialist equipment and technology.
- Analyze data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and GIS programs.
- Prepare survey drawings and present data to clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers to prioritize project implementation, changes, and rectification work.
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor with a strong background in geomatics and surveying. Key qualifications and skills include:
- HND/degree in Land Survey, Geomatics, or equivalent.
- Experience in similar roles and with similar values.
- Expert knowledge of Trimble total stations, levels, and GNSS receivers.
- Excellent AutoCAD skills to produce 2D and 3D drawings.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
EKFB is a joint venture between international market leaders Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction, and BAM Nuttall. We bring together specialist expertise in design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks. Our scope of works includes 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges, and around 30 million cubic meters of excavation.
