Community Support Manager

We are seeking an experienced Community Support Manager to lead our teams in providing high-quality support services to individuals with complex needs in Congleton, Macclesfield, and Salford.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Support Workers, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure outstanding levels of support and intervention. You will also be accountable for the financial stability of your portfolio and all aspects of budget expenditure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, supportive line management to approximately 20 Support Workers.
- Utilize data, research, and innovation to identify opportunities to improve performance and service delivery.
- Ensure each service is underpinned and consistently delivers outstanding support to individuals in accordance with the commissioned contract.
- Conduct regular reviews of each person's support through robust audit.
- Implement and monitor operational and contractual performance.
- Meet all Key Performance Indicators.
- Embed a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- Engage team members in regular supervision and annual appraisal.
- Engage teams in regular team meetings.
- Conduct spot checks at different times of the day and on different days of the week, including weekends.
- Ensure Safeguarding underpins all discussions and actions.
- Previous experience in operations management with the Health and Social Care industry.
- Charismatic leadership style that will inspire and motivate, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A person-centred approach to customer service.
- Strong understanding of the issues faced by people with learning disability and/or mental health/complex needs and the support required within the CQC Hospital Directorate Inspection Methodology.
- Ability and willingness to work flexibly, including some night, evening, and weekends.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a suitable vehicle to attend services in your portfolio on a regular basis.

Gray Healthcare is a specialist Health and Social Care provider, supporting people with complex needs, disabilities, and long-term conditions looking to step back into the community from in-patient support services. We do not expect you to know everything when you join Gray Healthcare. We provide an initial week of training, which is a combination of online training (company induction, systems, and medication, etc.) followed by in-person training on PROACT-SCIPr-UK, which is a PBS approach to least restrictive practice, a therapeutic and proven alternative to restraint-dominant approaches.
You will join the CSM Development Programme, where a Personal Development Plan will be agreed in conjunction with our Leadership Skills Development sessions.
