ABOUT YOU

RCG Moody International Limited c/- Intertek is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to assist the Facilities Manager in the daily operations of the site. This role involves overseeing both hard and soft service contracts, managing contractor activities, addressing Helpdesk inquiries, and ensuring routine and preventative maintenance is conducted effectively.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Prior experience in a facilities management role
  • Highly organized with the capability to manage personal workload
  • Fundamental understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, heating, HVAC, and air conditioning
  • Familiarity with Helpdesk systems (preferred)
  • Experience in a laboratory setting (preferred)
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address facility Helpdesk requests, collaborating with service users to ensure tickets are promptly reviewed, processed, and resolved, while maintaining a high standard of facility services.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance or coordinate external contractor visits to resolve issues related to facility assets and equipment, including plumbing, building structures, HVAC, electrical systems, lighting, and stability storage equipment.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks to support the Health & Safety Team, such as fire safety inspections, weekly flushing, and temperature monitoring of outlets to mitigate Legionella risks.
  • Implement preventative maintenance on various building assets and laboratory equipment, including HVAC filter replacements and component changes on purified water systems.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in the daily management of the site.
  • Organize and oversee contractor work, ensuring all necessary Health & Safety documentation is secured before work commences, including reviewing RAMS and competency certifications, and ensuring contractors are signed into the facility.
  • Prepare and submit purchase requests to the Administration Team for facility-related expenditures, including contractor repairs, service contracts, parts, and miscellaneous items.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to routinely assess service contracts for value and re-tender as necessary.
  • Lead smaller-scale projects, such as the installation of facility assets.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in executing building refurbishment and fit-out projects.
