About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Director - Retail to join our team at Westcoast Ltd. As an Account Director, you will play a key role in delivering a high-level service to our major retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with vendors and retail contacts to drive business growth and improve relationships.
  2. Conduct and contribute to retailer/vendor meetings to discuss sales, inventory, and marketing strategies.
  3. Monitor weekly stock and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain reporting tools to track and enhance inventory flow, ensuring seamless supply chain management.
  5. Manage and implement promotional activities to drive sales and revenue growth.
  6. Deliver pre-agreed performance KPIs with retail accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  1. Background in retail account management, category management, or FMCG account management is essential.
  2. Good understanding of supply chain and logistics in a retail environment.
  3. Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
  4. Analytical skills to spot trends and draw conclusions from data.
  5. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to develop strong business relationships.
  6. Able to work effectively under pressure and with changing priorities and workload.
  7. Able to negotiate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  8. Excellent attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
