Role Overview:The Robotics Production Engineer will investigate, research, and deploy suitable automation and robotics solutions within manufacturing environments to support both existing and new product lines.

This position is designed for growth and offers an exciting opportunity for personal and professional development within the organization.

The successful candidate will significantly contribute to advancing automation practices and must be a quick learner capable of working autonomously as well as part of a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities include supporting the production of existing and new products by generating effective engineering documentation, systems, and manufacturing processes while promoting a successful Lean Manufacturing culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engineering reviews of all customer orders.
  • Generate and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and works order information within the manufacturing system.
  • Communicate and resolve drawing issues and changes with production teams.
  • Administer controlled builds and ensure the accuracy of Manufacturing BOMs.
  • Collaborate with production staff to review, control, and implement effective improvements to engineering specifications.
  • Perform hands-on analysis, problem-solving, and development of production processes, methods, and engineering specifications.
  • Maximize operational effectiveness and efficiency across all engineering specifications.
  • Develop cellular manufacturing, flow line, and single-piece flow principles in alignment with company standards.
  • Establish and maintain practices necessary for achieving excellent standards through 5S and Visual Factory methodologies.
  • Assist in the specification, setup, and commissioning of new robotic equipment and facilities.
  • Oversee initial program generation and adjustments for existing products.
  • Engage in concept design, planning, sourcing, and implementation of automation solutions.
  • Control and monitor automated weld integrity.
  • Deliver requirements based on control systems and procedures for all MIG, MAG, GMAW, and TIG welding processes, providing technical support to relevant departments.
  • Integrate and implement new processes while driving improvement initiatives on existing workflows.
  • Provide overall direction and control of all MIG/MAG and TIG welding processes and associated documentation.
  • Develop and implement internal working standards, documentation, and performance reports.
  • Assist in the development and integration of automated and robotic welding processes.
  • Implement and manage a stock control system for welding spares.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of robotic applications.
  • Capability in robotic programming and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills along with strong negotiation and conflict management abilities.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
Working Hours and Benefits:

The role offers a standard working schedule of 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), along with:
