Are you an enthusiastic and skilled professional in Health and Social Care, particularly with children and young people? Do you possess a solid background in assessing NVQs for CYP and a dedication to fostering the growth of future residential childcare professionals? We are looking for a qualified Assessor in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People to join our team. This hybrid position allows for a blend of remote work and community engagement, catering to learners within a reasonable travel distance from your home.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assist learners in attaining their NVQs in Health and Social Care focused on children and young people.
  • Design and implement high-quality training sessions customized to meet the unique needs of each learner.
  • Track and assess learner progress, offering constructive feedback and support.
  • Maintain precise documentation and ensure adherence to awarding body standards.
  • Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to provide a seamless learning experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid UK Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in assessing CYP NVQs.
  • Demonstrated experience in residential childcare, along with appropriate occupational credentials.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
