Job Summary:
Norse Group is seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at County Hall in Norwich. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring site and laboratory testing is carried out in accordance with the standards and requirements of our Quality System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site and laboratory testing on a range of construction materials, structural investigations, and pavement investigations.
- Provide accurate test data and ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate closely with Laboratory Technicians and Senior Laboratory staff to achieve time and financial targets.
- Manage your own workload, multi-task, and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Hold a full UK driving license to meet travel requirements of the role.
Requirements:
- Hold GCSE at Grade C or above in Maths, English, and Science or equivalent.
- Experience in maintaining accurate data and records.
- Ability to follow defined guidance thoroughly to ensure compliance with standards.
