CK Group is seeking a talented individual for the position of Lead Quality Control Specialist to become a vital part of a reputable GMP pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Position Overview:
This role involves:
  • Conducting both routine and specialized testing of raw materials, bulk, and finished products in accordance with established testing protocols utilizing HPLC, GC, and various wet chemistry methods.
  • Coordinating sample collection and testing activities to align with production schedules and fulfill outstanding orders.
  • Performing environmental sampling and maintaining laboratory standards, including the calibration and upkeep of equipment.
  • Providing mentorship and assistance to fellow analysts within the team.
  • Completing investigations related to laboratory incidents, including Laboratory Investigations (LIs), Out of Specification (OOS), and Out of Trend (OOT) results.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree or higher in Life Sciences or a related discipline, along with relevant experience in a Quality Control laboratory within a GMP setting.
  • Proficiency in HPLC, GC, autotitrators, rheometric analysis, spectrometry, and wet chemistry techniques.
  • Familiarity with microbiological monitoring, COSHH assessments, and computerized laboratory management systems is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Capability to deliver training to diverse internal audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
