We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at ASQ Education to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering in-class, 1:1, and small group interventions to support pupils with SEN, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans to ensure pupils receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality support to pupils with SEN, including those with ASD, in a primary school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with teachers and other support staff
  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils with SEN
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEN in the classroom
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, teachers, and other support staff to ensure seamless support
