Our esteemed client, Onyx-Conseil, is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Workshop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their mechanical workshop in a dynamic and growing sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of skilled mechanical engineers and ensuring the smooth execution of workshop activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical engineers to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • Perform preliminary inspections of incoming components for repair and maintenance.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance in accordance with repair instructions and component maintenance manuals.
  • Conduct functional testing of repaired components, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • For New Build:
  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly reporting systems to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the calibration process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports on repair and new build processes, including project updates and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a mechanical workshop or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions.
