About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Housekeeper at The Oaks Care Home, a purpose-built nursing and residential home in Newtown, Powys.

This stunning 73-bedded luxury home offers state-of-the-art facilities, including a coffee shop/bistro, hair & nail salon, separate dining and lounge areas, activities room, and landscaped gardens, while providing exceptional standards of care supported by the latest care planning and nurse call technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a clean and beautifully presented environment for our residents
  • Ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to and effective infection control is maintained at all times
  • Work flexibly between the Home's domestic and laundry departments if required

Requirements

We are looking for strong team players with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Postholders must be able to demonstrate previous experience of undertaking cleaning and laundry gained either in work or domestic environments.
